Britney Spears swears in Instagram video after restaurant claims
Britney Spears has returned to Instagram with a lighthearted video message after reports in the US claimed she caused a disturbance during a night out at a restaurant in California earlier this week.
In a Friday post, Spears said she was heading to see “Devil Wears Prada 2” and exclaimed “F–k yeah, slurpee!”, Page Six reported.
The update came a day after TMZ alleged the singer had been “raising her voice” and “barking” during a “chaotic” scene at Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks on Wednesday night, with one onlooker later claiming she repeatedly stood up and sat down during the meal.
Spears’ spokesperson rejected the more dramatic allegations, including talk of a knife being waved around, saying the claims were “blown out of proportion” and insisting she was simply cutting her hamburger and discussing her dog barking at neighbours.
Spears has been in the spotlight in recent weeks following legal updates connected to a March DUI arrest, which was later reduced to “wet reckless”, and her brief voluntary stay at a rehab facility in April. Her latest social media clip did not directly address the restaurant incident, but marked her first post since the reports emerged.
