Prince Andrew is reportedly facing growing scrutiny inside royal circles — and a new report claims palace officials are increasingly worried he could potentially leave the country altogether amid his ongoing controversies.
According to a source cited in a new report, aides connected to Charles III are concerned because there is technically nothing legally preventing Andrew from boarding a plane and leaving Britain at any moment.
“Technically, nothing is stopping him from getting on a plane tomorrow.”
The update adds another layer to the growing tension surrounding Andrew’s status inside the royal family following renewed fallout connected to his past ties to deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The report also claims communication between Andrew and King Charles has reportedly become so strained that the two are no longer speaking directly. Instead, Andrew is allegedly relaying messages through palace staff rather than communicating with his brother personally.
“There’s no direct contact there anymore.”
Even though Andrew reportedly continues insisting he has “nothing to hide and nowhere to run,” the report claims palace insiders are no longer taking those reassurances at face value.
“People aren’t listening to Andrew’s promises anymore. They’re watching his every move.”
The latest claims come after Andrew was stripped of his royal titles in October 2025 amid escalating controversy surrounding his public standing and legal scrutiny. Reports also state he was removed from Royal Lodge and later relocated to Sandringham under increased observation.
The situation became even more serious earlier this year when Andrew was arrested in February on allegations tied to misconduct in public office connected to claims he shared confidential information with Epstein during his time as a British trade envoy. While he was later released without charges being filed, the arrest intensified the pressure surrounding his future inside the monarchy.
Bottom line: Prince Andrew’s relationship with the royal family reportedly continues to deteriorate, and palace insiders are now allegedly concerned enough about the situation that fears have emerged he could attempt to leave the country altogether while scrutiny around him keeps growing.
