Charles III is reportedly continuing to distance himself from Prince Andrew — and a new update suggests the royal rift inside the family has only gotten worse.
According to a new report, Charles deliberately avoided meeting Andrew while both were staying at the Sandringham estate following the King’s recent state visit to the United States. Despite being only a short distance apart on the property, the two brothers reportedly had no direct interaction at all.
The reported move is being viewed as another major sign that the monarchy is continuing to separate itself from Andrew amid his ongoing controversies and legal scrutiny.
The update also claims fresh concerns have emerged inside the palace after a recent alleged security scare involving Andrew near his residence in eastern England. According to the report, a masked man wearing a balaclava allegedly threatened Andrew while he was walking his dogs near Sandringham.
That situation reportedly reignited concerns internally about Andrew’s security and public profile.
At the same time, Prince Harry is said to have privately supported his uncle following the incident, believing Andrew deserves stronger protection despite the controversies surrounding him. However, that reported support has apparently only created even more tension inside royal circles.
The report paints the situation as a growing divide within the family, with Charles continuing to prioritize protecting the monarchy’s image while others inside the royal orbit remain divided over how Andrew should be treated moving forward.
This comes after Andrew’s royal titles were stripped amid renewed scrutiny surrounding his ties to deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein. Since then, reports surrounding Andrew’s status inside the royal family have remained increasingly tense.
Bottom line: King Charles reportedly went out of his way to avoid Prince Andrew during their latest stay at Sandringham, signaling that the divide inside the royal family over Andrew’s future may be getting even deeper.
