Taylor Swift Named In Lively-Baldoni Jury Questions
Taylor Swift has been pulled back into the legal dispute between actors Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni ahead of their upcoming “It Ends With Us” trial, after her name appeared in a new court filing connected to jury selection.
In court documents reviewed by Page Six, lawyers for both sides jointly prepared a list of questions intended for potential jurors, including one asking whether they know “any of the following people” they may hear from or about during the case, with Swift among the names.
The list also includes a catalogue of other high-profile figures who could be mentioned, including Ms Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds, her sister Robyn Lively, and cast and creative names connected to the film adaptation, such as Mr Hasan Minhaj, Ms Jenny Slate and author Ms Colleen Hoover.
Baldoni’s team also filed a request for additional time to review what it described as the “voluminous” witness and exhibit lists submitted by Lively, arguing that some of the 68 exhibits have limited relevance, including materials referencing Swift such as an article link to a cookie recipe and photos of the singer with Lively.
The case is scheduled to go to trial on May 18 on three remaining claims against Baldoni: breach of contract, retaliation and aiding and abetting in retaliation. Swift, Lively and Baldoni’s representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment, according to the report.
