Britney Spears Seen Being Driven After DUI Arrest
Britney Spears was photographed being driven through Los Angeles on Easter Sunday, weeks after she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Ventura County. The singer, 44, was seen in the passenger seat of a Mercedes G-Wagon after dining at restaurant Catch, in an outing that comes as she remains in the spotlight following the March incident.
In its report, Daily Mail said Spears was not behind the wheel as she left the venue and was driven through the city after dark, with the driver not identified in the article.
The outlet also described Spears’ earlier Easter get-together with songwriter Diane Warren and comedian Ms Molly Shannon, alongside her manager Cade Hudson, sharing that a photo posted to Warren’s Instagram showed the group posing together. The report added that representatives for Spears previously described her arrest as “an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable,” and said she intended to comply with the law.
The Easter appearance follows recent attention on Spears’ social circle and support network, including her reunion with creative collaborators, as covered in our report on Britney Spears reconnecting with Diane Warren after her DUI arrest.
Spears was arrested on suspicion of DUI on 4 March and released the next morning, according to the report. Any further legal steps have not been detailed in the same account, but the latest sighting suggests the pop star is keeping a lower profile on the road in the weeks after the arrest.
