Patrick J Adams Shares Meghan’s Suits Set Habit
Patrick J Adams has shared a candid memory from his time working with Meghan Markle on Suits, describing a piece of on-set body language he says became a familiar response during their scenes together. The actor, who played Michael Ross opposite Ms Markle’s Rachel Zane, spoke about their dynamic in a recent podcast appearance, revisiting their years filming the legal drama in Toronto.
During the interview, Hello Magazine reported that Mr Adams said he “got a lot of eye rolls” from Ms Markle, adding that it was “a constant” when she appeared fed up with him while they were working together.
Adams made the remarks while speaking on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with host Ms Amanda Hirsch, also reflecting on the scrutiny Ms Markle has faced since marrying Prince Harry. In the same conversation, he said “what she’s gone through is insane,” as the host recalled writing to Ms Markle because she was concerned a trailer clip featuring the actor might trigger renewed criticism.
The comments come amid continued interest in Ms Markle’s time on the series, following previous Britpop News reporting on what Suits creator Aaron Korsh has said about working with Meghan Markle before her royal life began.
Markle married Prince Harry in 2018 and the couple stepped down as senior working royals in 2020, later relocating to California. While the exchange was light-hearted in tone, it has reignited discussion online about how castmates remember their time on Suits and the pressure that followed Ms Markle’s move into the public spotlight.
