Prince Andrew Reportedly Moves to Sandringham Mobile Home
Prince Andrew’s living arrangements are said to have changed again, with a report claiming the Duke of York has been forced out of Royal Lodge and will soon be based at Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
The Daily Mail said a second-hand Willerby Meridian Lodge mobile home, described as costing about $33,000, was delivered to Sandringham on Monday, March 30 and is expected to house Andrew’s security team because of limited space at the main property, as relayed by Yahoo Entertainment.
The report added that the 2012-model unit has a basic two-bedroom layout, with neutral carpets, vinyl flooring and a compact kitchen, and claimed it was bought using funds provided by King Charles III for living expenses. It also quoted an unnamed source alleging Andrew has used the caravan himself and “likes it”, while another source suggested staff based elsewhere on the estate were reluctant to stay in it.
Marsh Farm is said to be undergoing work including rewiring and plastering, with claims there was talk of asbestos, and one source alleged the King would have “no qualms” about moving Andrew out of Wood Farm if extra accommodation was needed, amid continuing debate over whether the Royal Lodge should be cleared of Andrew.
The account also repeated a claim that Andrew was arrested on February 19 over allegations relating to Jeffrey Epstein and said he denies wrongdoing; Buckingham Palace has not commented on the reported new living setup.
