Prince Andrew adds mobile home at Marsh Farm
Prince Andrew has reportedly installed a mobile home at his Norfolk accommodation on the Sandringham Estate as he prepares to move into Marsh Farm, with the unit said to be intended for his security team. The development comes as the Duke of York is linked with a change of residence while work continues on the five-room property.
AOL reported that a substantial white mobile home was delivered to Marsh Farm in Wolferton and placed within a former stable block, with the report saying the unit is meant to provide lodging for protection officers because the house itself cannot accommodate staff.
The same report said additional security measures have been added at the site, including a six-foot perimeter fence and CCTV cameras, and that removal vans were also seen near the newly delivered unit. It added that Prince Andrew had been staying at Wood Farm while Marsh Farm was being renovated, and that he was expected to move after the Easter holidays.
The timeline around his stay at Wood Farm has also been the subject of recent scrutiny, with earlier BritpopNews reporting that he may leave Wood Farm by Easter as the Sandringham property is required back for other use.
Any move would mark the latest change in Prince Andrew’s living arrangements, with attention now focused on when renovation work at Marsh Farm will be completed and what security arrangements will be in place once he is fully based at the Norfolk property.
