Prince Andrew pictured at Sandringham in first public sighting since reported arrest
Prince Andrew has been photographed in public for the first time since a reported February arrest linked to allegations about his ties to the late Jeffrey Epstein. The Duke of York was seen on Saturday at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, walking his dogs while accompanied by a bodyguard, according to the US outlet that published the images.
Page Six reported that Prince Andrew is currently residing at Sandringham after being forced to move out of Royal Lodge in Windsor last month, describing the property as a 30-room mansion.
The report said Prince Andrew was arrested on February 19, which it noted was his 66th birthday, on suspicion of misconduct in public office over an allegation that he forwarded confidential trade documents to Epstein. The same article said the Duke has denied the accusations and warned he could face a life sentence if convicted.
The Sandringham sighting comes amid continued scrutiny of the Duke’s living arrangements, following earlier reports that he was seen moving into a Sandringham home after leaving Royal Lodge.
The latest images are likely to intensify public focus on the Duke’s legal situation and its wider impact on the Royal Family, after the report also claimed relatives have faced protests during recent public appearances.
