Meghan Markle Netflix Show Misses Top 300
Meghan Markle is approaching the one-year anniversary of her Netflix cooking and lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, as new commentary highlights the programme’s reported viewing performance and what it could mean for the show’s future on the streaming service.
In an opinion piece, Express.co.uk reported that official figures showed the first season failed to break into Netflix’s top 300 most-watched shows in the first six months of 2025, with the series recorded as being watched 5.3 million times and ranked 383rd.
The article said the format featured the Duchess of Sussex hosting celebrity guests at a rented Montecito mansion, with episodes focused on homemade food as well as hosting and gardening tips. It added that critics dismissed the show as “contrived,” “a failed attempt at relatability”, “a painful watch” and “out of touch”, and argued that the viewing figures explain why Netflix has no plans to commission another season.
The anniversary arrives as Markle continues to pursue other commercial projects beyond television, including her lifestyle brand and social media promotion, with Britpop News previously reporting on how she has shared personal messages during a busy period of public scrutiny.
Netflix has not announced any new episodes of With Love, Meghan, and any decision on future commissions is expected to rest on audience demand and the platform’s wider content strategy.
