Taylor Swift ‘not concerned’ as Blake Lively lawsuit texts become public, report says
Taylor Swift is said to be keeping her focus on her personal life as private messages linked to Blake Lively’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni enter the public domain, drawing the singer into a dispute she reportedly feels is not hers.
Page Six reported that Swift, 36, has been spending time with fiancé Travis Kelce, friends and family and is “not concerned” about the lawsuit drama because she believes it “doesn’t involve her,” even as the newly released texts have “put a noticeable wedge” between her and Lively.
The messages were disclosed amid Ms Lively’s ongoing sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit against Mr Baldoni, her It Ends With Us co-star and director, with the report stating that the actress described Swift as one of her “dragons” in a conversation with him. The texts also include Swift telling Lively “I’ll do anything for you!!” and later noting she missed her friend after what she described as a shift in tone in recent months.
The disclosure follows earlier Britpop News reporting that Swift “felt exposed” after private texts were released in the case, as scrutiny intensified around her proximity to the production dispute and its fallout.
Mr Baldoni has denied Ms Lively’s allegations, according to the report, and has accused her and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of intimidating him out of control of the film. The case is expected to proceed to trial in May, with Swift’s representatives previously denying her involvement in both the film and the litigation.
