Prince William and Princess Kate heckled over Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor controversy in Scotland
Prince William and Princess Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, faced heckling during a visit to a community pub in Fallin, Stirlingshire, Scotland. A member of the public shouted questions about the couple’s knowledge of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s alleged connections to Jeffrey Epstein, asking whether they had been “covering up” for him.
This incident refers to the controversy surrounding Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, who had his royal titles and honours stripped by King Charles in October 2025 due to his legal troubles. Security personnel had to step in to calm the heckler, but the couple continued their engagements meeting local community members and discussing the value of community support.
At the pub, William was presented with a Guinness glass by the publican, symbolising the community’s appreciation. The royal couple also visited the National Curling Academy and met Team GB athletes ahead of the Winter Paralympic Games.
The day showcased the contrast between challenging public questions and warm receptions by others in the community, highlighting the complexities of the royal family’s public interactions.
