Expert says Meghan Markle needs ‘automatic’ armed security for UK return
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield has stated that Meghan Markle would only agree to return to the UK if she is guaranteed automatic armed security, amid growing speculation about the Duchess of Sussex’s potential visit alongside Prince Harry for the Invictus Games celebrations in Birmingham this summer.
Meghan’s return has been surrounded by rumors involving security demands and ongoing royal family tensions. Schofield explained that while the current RAVEC protocol requires 30 days’ notice to assess threat levels, allowing security to be provided, Meghan and Harry object to having to request protection on a case-by-case basis.
