Instead of preparing for another Super Bowl run, Kelce is facing big personal decisions. He must decide whether to return for a 14th NFL season or retire from football.
At the same time, Kelce is also thinking about another major milestone. He and pop star Taylor Swift are reportedly planning a wedding. While details are being kept private, Kelce previously joked on his New Heights podcast that the wedding will “go crazy.”
Very little is known about the guest list. Even Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, has said he has not been told any details. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has also stayed quiet.
One confirmed guest, according to a report from the Kansas City Star, is Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Kelce and Edwards-Helaire became close during the 2020 season, bonding during the COVID-19 pandemic. Kelce supported him through personal struggles, and their friendship grew strong.
Their trust was clear during the 2024 Super Bowl parade shooting, when Edwards-Helaire helped calm Swift while checking on Kelce. Later, Swift even helped Kelce return quickly from her Eras Tour to attend Edwards-Helaire’s wedding.
With many close relationships built over 13 seasons in Kansas City, Kelce’s wedding guest list may include more teammates than anyone expects.
