David Beckham’s 2025 Instagram recap has drawn attention for one clear reason: his oldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, was missing.
On Wednesday, the former soccer star shared a 20-photo carousel looking back at what he called unforgettable moments from the past year. The post included photos of David Beckham, his wife Victoria Beckham, and their three younger children — Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. Brooklyn, however, did not appear in any of the images.
In his caption, David celebrated major milestones, including turning 50, receiving a knighthood, and winning the MLS as an owner. He thanked his wife, children, friends, and team, saying none of it would have been possible without them. Victoria commented on the post, saying how proud the family is of him.
Fans quickly noticed Brooklyn’s absence and shared mixed reactions. Some criticized David for leaving out his eldest son, saying it could deepen the family divide. Others supported the decision, arguing that David and Victoria have tried to maintain the relationship and are now focusing on family members who remain close.
The tension between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents has reportedly been ongoing for years and recently escalated after Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, blocked David and Victoria on social media. Cruz Beckham later claimed the parents were blocked, not the other way around.
Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz, who married in 2022, have continued to show a united front online, while the Beckham family rift remains unresolved.
