Miley Cyrus is not planning a big or traditional second wedding. According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, she is not very interested in doing another full wedding ceremony and is instead thinking about something much more private with her fiancé, Maxx Morando.
Cyrus is said to be in a calm and happy place in her life and is focusing more on love than on the stress or spectacle of a wedding. The couple is very low-key and wants to celebrate their engagement in a way that feels meaningful to them. They have discussed the idea of eloping and possibly doing something small with just the two of them. She is enjoying being engaged and is not rushing into planning anything.
This approach is influenced by her past marriage to Liam Hemsworth, which lasted eight months before they separated in 2019. While that wedding was also simple, Cyrus does not want to go through the traditional “bride” experience again and prefers to keep this chapter of her life more private.
Page Six first reported the engagement after Cyrus appeared with a diamond ring at a film premiere. She later confirmed the proposal during an interview on Good Morning America, sharing that Morando proposed during a trip to Asia.
