The New Year is right around the corner and with it, one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings in years. Reports suggest that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will tie the knot on June 13th, 2026 in a lavish Rhode Island ceremony at Ocean House hotel. And, naturally, fans can’t wait to get any details on how this “love story” plays out via In Style.
So far, the couple hasn’t revealed too much about their plans. However, Travis’ brother, Jason, recently dropped a surprising detail about one wedding tradition the couple may skip altogether: the best man’s speech.
During a December 19th appearance on Good Morning America, the former football player was asked if he was preparing to give a speech on the big day.
“Time will tell if there is one or anything like that,” Jason replied. “I’ve been given no details on that front, but however I’m involved, I’ll be happy to be. I’m just happy for those two.”
“When it comes to wedding planning, nothing feels rushed or one-sided,” a source told People. “They’re both equally involved and excited, and this isn’t something one or the other is carrying on their own.” The insider shared that it’s been a project the couple has enjoyed bonding over, adding, “They’re approaching it as a partnership, talking things through together and enjoying the process in a way that feels natural to them.”
Taylor is also reportedly trying to keep details about their upcoming nuptials under wraps. “She has been intentionally slowing down,” a source told Us Weekly. “She’s been nesting, cooking, spending time with family, and carving out space to enjoy being engaged.”
Another source of the outlet added, “Taylor wants the leadup to her wedding to Travis to feel grounded and not chaotic.”
