Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making changes to how they run their charity work. The couple announced that their charitable foundation, Archewell, is being restructured and renamed Archewell Philanthropies. Along with the new name, they are also changing how the organization operates by moving to a fiscal sponsorship model. This change is meant to give them more flexibility and allow them to support a wider range of causes around the world.
Harry and Meghan said the new structure will also involve their children, Archie, who is six, and Lilibet, who is four. They explained that this shift allows them to continue their charity work as a family while expanding their global impact. Their goal is to reach more communities and make a stronger difference.
Fiscal sponsorship means Archewell Philanthropies may not directly run every program it supports. Instead, it can fund and partner with other organizations. This can simplify operations, but it may also mean less detailed public reporting about where every dollar goes.
Archewell also released its 2025 impact report, confirming that its mission remains the same. The charity’s leaders said they are still focused on showing up, doing good, and helping communities in meaningful ways.
Alongside their charity work, Harry and Meghan continue to work in entertainment through Archewell Productions, which still has a deal with Netflix. Meghan recently hosted a lifestyle show, and the couple plans to keep balancing media projects with their philanthropic efforts.
