50 Cent Claims Diddy Sent Him a “Creepy” Gift From Prison After Netflix Doc
50 Cent has poured more fuel on one of hip-hop’s longest-running feuds by claiming Sean “Diddy” Combs sent him a “creepy” gift from prison in the wake of Netflix’s explosive docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning. In a story broken by The Tab, the rapper posted on Instagram that Combs had allegedly sent flowers to a Miami venue.
“What kinda gay sh*t is this? Diddy send me flowers at club 11 LOL,” he wrote in a since-viral caption, before joking that the disgraced mogul should “get busy” rather than play games from behind bars. Crucially, as The Tab points out, 50 Cent has not shared any independent evidence that the flowers actually came from Combs, and there’s no confirmation Diddy has even seen the documentary or its promo run from his federal facility.
The piece notes, however, that it’s plausible Combs could have caught some of 50’s television interviews promoting the series, since mainstream networks like ABC are among the limited channels available in many US prisons. Jackson has repeatedly said he didn’t get involved in The Reckoning simply because of personal beef, but because he felt the silence from others in hip-hop risked normalising Combs’ alleged behaviour.
Still, the “creepy gift” claim shows how blurred the line has become between genuine whistleblowing, trolling for attention and old-school rap theatre. With Combs in prison and 50 Cent effectively curating the documentary lens on his downfall, every social-media post now doubles as both commentary and marketing – and this latest allegation keeps their rivalry firmly in the headlines.
