Kayla Nicole turned heads this Halloween by channeling Toni Braxton from the iconic He Wasn’t Man Enough music video and fans are convinced the look was a dig at her ex, NFL star Travis Kelce, and his fiancée, Taylor Swift.
The 33-year-old model shared her costume on Instagram, captioning it as a tribute to Braxton’s 2000 hit. She later posted photos from her Halloween photoshoot, earning praise from followers who called the move “savage” and “the ultimate last laugh.” Some even joked that someone should “check on TayTay,” referring to Swift.
The timing of Nicole’s costume raised eyebrows, coming just after Swift seemingly referenced her in the song Opalite from The Life of a Showgirl. The lyric suggesting that Kelce was “in it for real” while “she was in her phone” has been widely interpreted as a jab at Nicole, implying she dated Kelce for attention.
This isn’t the first time Nicole has used Halloween to make a statement. Last year, she hinted at dressing as Teyana Taylor following reports that former NBA player Iman Shumpert had dumped her via text. The costume sparked backlash, with Taylor calling the move “distasteful” and saying Nicole “knew exactly what she was doing.”
