Meghan Markle is reportedly feeling uneasy as Prince Harry works on repairing his relationship with the royal family, especially with his father, King Charles. After five years of limited contact and the king’s recent cancer diagnosis, both sides are said to be moving toward reconciliation. However, some sources claim Meghan is worried that this progress could come at the cost of their marriage.
According to insiders, Meghan fears that King Charles might eventually encourage Harry to separate from her as a final step in fully rejoining the royal fold. She reportedly sees similarities to what happened with Princess Diana, who was pushed out of the royal circle with the help of Queen Elizabeth, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and then Prime Minister John Major.
While Meghan supports Harry’s efforts to rebuild family ties, she is said to be uncomfortable with how quickly things are moving. She is especially concerned about not being included in key talks, such as a reported private meeting between Charles’ and Harry’s aides on July 12 in London.
Sources also claim Harry no longer gives Meghan the same level of attention and support as he once did. According to RadarOnline, this shift in behavior has become troubling for Meghan. One insider said she is holding onto hope that the royal family does not turn Harry against her.
Meghan has reportedly asked Harry to make sure she is part of all major decisions and reminded him to respect their partnership. She wants to feel included and supported as changes unfold.
Harry is said to be leading the peace talks on his own, partly because Meghan may come across as too direct for royal discussions. Although his actions may come from a place of love and responsibility, Meghan reportedly feels anxious about being left out and is worried about what the future may bring.
