The older brother of Noel and Liam Gallagher was recently charged with r*pe and string of other violent s*x offences, according to Daily Mail.
Paul Gallagher, from East Finchley in north London, has faced the charges following an investigation that began last year.
He is also accused of sexual assault, coercive control and making threats to kill. He is due to appear in court next month.
The offences are alleged to have occurred between 2022 and 2024 and involve one woman. Paul, who at 59 is one year older than Noel and seven years older than Liam, grew up with the pair in Burnage, Manchester.
Paul Gallagher, who has not previously been involved with Oasis, is currently listed as the ‘tour DJ’ in the official program for the band’s sold-out reunion tour. Oasis is set to perform three more shows at Wembley before continuing on to Edinburgh, Dublin, and then other international locations.
Paul resides in a flat that Noel purchased in 2004, and he has worked as both a DJ and a photographer. He has described his lifestyle as normal, stating that he lives ‘amongst the lower middle classes’ and prefers to avoid public attention, aiming to remain ‘invisible.’
However, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police announced that Paul Gallagher, from East Finchley, has been charged with serious offenses, including rape, coercive and controlling behavior, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making threats to kill, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
‘The offences are reported to have taken place between 2022-2024. The charges follow an investigation which commenced in 2024.
‘A woman is being supported by specially trained officers.’
Paul Gallagher will appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 27th.
