Controversial hip hop star Diddy is just waiting to hear the verdict now and he and his family members are falling back on prayer during this difficult time via TMZ.
On Wednesday morning, the rapper gathered his family for a prayer before returning to his holding cell at the Manhattan federal courthouse. He encouraged his family to stay strong and asked God to bless them as well as the hearts of the jurors, concluding the prayer with an “Amen.”
As he was escorted from the room, family members, including his mother Janice and several of his children, expressed their support by breaking into applause.
The jury had reached a consensus on four of the charges in the case the previous day: two charges of s*x trafficking and two charges related to transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution. However, they were still deliberating on the fifth charge. On Wednesday morning, the jury announced that they had reached a verdict.
Diddy is letting his family know that how important they are to him as the verdict looms because at the end of trial on Tuesday, Diddy told his mom he loved her before he was taken away. His children were seen leaving the courtroom with sad faces later in the day.
