Suge Knight, who is currently in prison, recently talked about Diddy’s sex trafficking case on a podcast with former Bad Boy artist Aubrey O’Day. He shared his opinion on what might happen if Diddy takes the stand in court.
Suge said that while Diddy has made mistakes, he’s not stupid. If Diddy testifies and talks about his side of the story, Suge believes it could actually help hip-hop culture. He said Diddy should try to make a deal first, so anything he says in court won’t be used against him. Suge believes Diddy has the chance to make a big positive impact if he handles it right.
In an earlier interview with NewsNation, Suge also said he thinks Diddy won’t be in too much trouble. He believes Diddy has some government connections and might even get a pardon from Donald Trump if he ends up being convicted. Suge added that Diddy isn’t worried and could convince at least one juror to vote in his favor, which might be enough to avoid a conviction.
Suge also denied a story shared by Cassie during her court testimony. She said that Diddy once stopped one of their private parties after hearing that Suge was nearby at Mel’s Diner in Los Angeles. Suge said that never happened, and if it had, someone could have gotten hurt.
