Justin Bieber created concern online after he shared a strong message on Instagram and followed it up with screenshots of a private text conversation.
On Sunday, June 15, Justin, 31, posted a black-and-white photo of himself with a plastic hand showing the middle finger. He captioned it, “I’m a dad that’s not to be messed with.”
Just nine hours later, he shared screenshots of a text exchange with someone he recently stopped being friends with. In the texts, Justin said their friendship was over and that he refuses to hide his feelings for anyone. He explained that asking someone who’s been through trauma to not feel hurt is unfair. He added, “If you don’t like my anger, you don’t like me.”
Fans reacted quickly, with some worried about Justin’s emotional state. One fan commented, “Please look after yourself,” while another said, “Nobody has to deal with your trauma and anger.”
The other person in the texts responded by saying they weren’t used to being spoken to that way. Justin replied that he didn’t want a friend who called his emotions “lashing out,” and said he had friends who respect him. He also called the person a name, told them to leave him alone, and said he was blocking them.
This happened just as Justin also shared sweet Father’s Day moments at home with his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their 10-month-old son, Jack Blues. He posted pictures of Hailey playing piano with Jack, and a cute moment where Jack lay beside him on the floor.
