Kanye West has recently said that he “dreams” of apologizing to his former mentor, JAY-Z. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Kanye shared: “All my dreams have been about apologizing to Jay Z.”
This comes after Kanye made several hurtful and offensive comments about JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s family earlier this year. In one post, he insulted their young twins, Rumi and Sir, using slurs and inappropriate language. He also made offensive remarks about artificial insemination and Down syndrome.
After removing the post, Kanye explained that he deleted it to avoid having his account banned, not because he regretted it. He continued to use harmful language in more posts, saying JAY-Z and Beyoncé had no power over him and doubling down on his attacks.
He also expressed anger that no celebrities defended him during his own personal struggles, especially when he faced backlash for wearing a MAGA hat. Kanye even said he regretted deleting the post more than writing it.
So far, JAY-Z has not responded publicly to any of Kanye’s comments.
