A Beyoncé fan is asking for a $700 refund after going to her Cowboy Carter concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, saying it was the “worst concert experience” they’ve ever had. The fan bought two tickets for $350 each, hoping to have a great night seeing one of the biggest music stars in the world. Instead, they were very disappointed by several problems that ruined the event for them.
The biggest issue was their seats. The fan thought they had picked great spots in the first elevated section, which were supposed to have a good view of the stage. But when they got there, they found that large pieces of equipment blocked much of the stage. There was also a big structure with people standing on it that blocked more of the view. The fan said there was no warning on the ticket about the blocked view, which they would expect for such expensive seats.
The sound at their seats was also a problem. The speakers were pointed directly at them, and the music was so loud and distorted that it hurt their ears. They said Beyoncé sounded like she was singing through a toy microphone. Some fans who arrived early were moved to better seats after complaining, but this fan said staff wouldn’t help them move, even after they tried.
Another frustrating part was that many seats around them were empty, even though the show was supposed to be sold out. The fan had traveled a long way and paid a lot of money, only to end up watching the concert on a small screen with a bad view and worse sound. They felt tricked and said the experience was not worth the price. Now, they want their money back.
