Justin Bieber’s recent behavior has people around him worried. A source told The New York Post that the 31-year-old singer has been acting strangely, spending a lot of money, smoking weed on Instagram Live, and cutting ties with close friends. He has also been partying hard, hanging out with questionable people, and showing signs that he may not be in the best place mentally.
Even though he and his wife, Hailey Bieber, welcomed their first baby, Jack Blues, eight months ago, Justin doesn’t seem focused on family life. Instead, he has been showing off expensive habits like flying friends in on private jets for his birthday and reportedly spending hundreds of thousands of dollars at restaurants like Nobu during Coachella (though someone close to him denies that claim).
At Coachella, a video surfaced of Justin shirtless, smoking near his younger brother Jaxon, while Hailey gently guided Jaxon away. This fueled more concern, especially as rumors continue to swirl about Justin and Hailey’s marriage facing challenges.
Although he made around $200 million in 2023 by selling the rights to his music, sources say he might be spending faster than he is earning. He has not released an album since 2021 and has not toured since canceling the remainder of his “Justice” tour in 2022 due to Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that caused partial facial paralysis. That cancellation reportedly cost him $90 million in lost income and left him owing money to his tour promoter, which his then-manager Scooter Braun helped cover.
