Pop star Justin Timberlake was recently spotted in Argentina for the latest leg of his controversial world tour, nearly a year after the it kicked off in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Sexy/Back singer, 44, played in Buenos Aires on March 21st to mark the first of the four concerts he’s performing in South America.
However, the N’Sync alum was spotted in the Argentina capital city appeared weary and tired as he stepped out of a black SUV flanked by bodyguards via Daily Mail.
Jessica Biel’s husband donned a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap with a black button-down shirt and olive green cargo pants. The Cry Me a River hitmaker’s beard sported some serious grey and made the father of two look older than his years.
The New Mickey Mouse club star was entering a popular steakhouse called Don Julio to enjoy the country’s famous high-end steaks. The outing came weeks after fans were unable to sing along with his flop new song at a Minnesota concert on February 24th that earned scathing reviews.
Fans of the pop star were left disappointed by his show in St Paul last month where he insisted on playing new songs ‘hardly anyone cared about.’
Fans were hoping to indulge in nostalgia and see Timberlake perform his most famous hits, they were instead forced to endure ‘meh’ material, per a scathing review by the Minnesota Star Tribune.
Timberlake was also slammed for performing as many as 11 songs from his most recent album, Everything I Thought It Was, which was a commercial failure.
He was embarrassed when he asked fans to sing the album’s single. However, the crowd didn’t know the words to the song, which made little impact.
Fans were also disappointed that a ‘monolith’ tour prop Timberlake has used during the encore at previous shows failed to make an appearance.
Instead, the singer performed hits like Mirrors in a secondary stage that some fans complained was not central enough.
One fan said on Facebook that Timberlake ‘spent quite a bit of time on a second stage at the back of the arena, and finished out the show back there, so lost a little luster for anyone toward the front.’
The St. Paul show was the penultimate US show of Timberlake’s Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which has been mired by scandals including his DWI arrest last summer.
