Jay-Z and Beyoncé are shocked that Kanye West attacked their two youngest children in a harsh social media rant on Tuesday night. A source told Page Six that the couple is very upset and won’t tolerate it after West made vulgar and offensive comments about their kids.
“Jay-Z and Beyoncé know about Kanye’s posts, which he later deleted, and they are deciding how to handle the situation, possibly in private or even legally,” the source said.
However, they reportedly have no plans to publicly respond to West’s comments.
West, 47, questioned the intelligence of their 7-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, before deleting his post—only to repost it early Wednesday morning.
He later admitted that he didn’t remove the post because he felt bad but because he feared getting banned from the platform.
His ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, is also upset. A source said she was “appalled” that West would speak that way about anyone, especially children.
“Kim thinks Kanye’s posts are shocking and offensive,” the source added. “No matter what issues he has with Jay-Z and Beyoncé, kids should be off-limits.”
