In honor of the long-awaited release of the Arctic Monkeys’ fifth studio album, AM, spend an hour and a half watching this special about their time at Glastonbury. Jo Whiley narrates a short introductory piece discussing the band’s history and their headling performance on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage in 2007. Stick around for the band’s full performance at Glastonbury 2013.
The set features the first UK performances of two songs off AM, the opener ‘Do I Wanna Know?’ and ‘R U Mine?’ And the band concludes with a generous encore set including ‘Cornerstone’ and ‘Mardy Bum’ getting a semi-acoustic treatment with the addition of a string section. Miles Kane joins the band on stage for their final song, ‘505.’
