Roger Waters Poland Tour in hot water after the musicians war remarks.
Roger Waters is a renowned name in the musical circuit. He caught the attention of the Polish authorities after he wrote a letter to Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska and told her that it was her country’s “extreme nationalists” that got the country in the state of war.
His remarks didn’t go well with Polish authorities who were working on a proposal against Waters as persona non grata and “indignation.” According to reports, Waters will not perform in the Tauron Arena in Krakow where he was scheduled to perform in April. His website doesn’t have the details of those concerts either.
Lukasz Pytko from Tauron Arena Krakow stated that Waters’ manager withdrew the dates without citing a reason. The Polish media had these details with them as part of Pytko’s remarks. It was a part of his ‘This is not a drill’ concert but it looks like the website for Waters’ “This Is Not a Drill” concert tour did not list the Krakow concerts previously scheduled for April 21-22.
Waters’ comments were against NATO and the west that supplied arms and ammunition to Ukraine.
