Lewis the legend is back and better than ever despite what a Gallagher may have to say about him. Yes, everyone, that’s right – Lewis Capaldi is back and will most definitely be making his way to Glastonbury where we all await his arrival.
West Lothian singing sensation Lewis Capaldi has been announced a return to the star-studded line-up of Glastonbury Festival 2023 this June.
What sets Glastonburg off along with Lewis is that we will all get a treat in the form of Arctic Monkeys and Guns N’ Roses who will all be joining Sir Elton John at the top of the bill.
Lewis Capaldi last appeared in the Somerset festival in 2019 where he took to the stage wearing a parka and a t-shirt with Noel Gallagher’s face on it. This seemed like a nudge at the ol chap as this happened after the Oasis legend went off on him in an interview asking “Who’s this Capaldi fella? Who the f**k is that idiot?”
Lewis then swaggered onto stage to the sound of “here comes the money” to tear into the Oasis songwriter to rustle the feathers of Noel, with his estranged brother Liam also getting involved in the spat.
It didn’t stop there as Noel said he looked like “Chewbacca”. Lewis then gave himself the name ‘Chewis Capaldi’.
