Former Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher recently showed no sign of squashing the feud with his brother Liam, as he’s reportedly formed a surprising friendship with Peter Kay.
The former Oasis guitarist has allegedly become close with the comedian, 49, who famously called Liam, 50, a ‘k**bhead’ at the 2010 BRIT Awards.
A source told The Sun:
”Noel went to Peter’s Manchester gig last week and they met backstage and got on like a house on fire.”
”They spent time together after the show and it was a great laugh. Peter is a huge fan of Noel’s and it was a pleasure for him to welcome him.”
”Noel surprised some of the crowd at the arena who had no idea he’d be making an appearance.”
Having attended the funnyman’s recent Manchester gig, it has been claimed Noel hit it off with Liam’s nemesis Peter after they met backstage.
Noel Gallagher recently talked about the prospect of an Oasis reunion in the future. The beef between the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel Gallagher is no secret. The split of Oasis certainly shocked the fans back in the day. In 2009, the band parted ways immediately following a backstage tiff in Paris. Tension had been brewing in the time building up to their scheduled performance at Rock en Seine festival. The weekend prior, Oasis pulled out of headlining V Festival because Liam Gallagher was suffering from laryngitis, and rumors floated about their tumultuous relationship.
