Liam and Noel Gallagher could be mending fences as the former Oasis member seems to be on the way to join the group. The rumour comes across after Liam had his signing to Warner but is now moving over to Parlophone.
The same company hosts Noel already, and so the excitement is on the cards that Oasis could be reforming again. While it seems impossible as Noel has talked about it in a Q&A at The Rose Theatre in Kingston.
Hair was a thing in Oasis, so we’ll have to see what everybody’s hair is looking like. I’m in no matter what. This is not f***ing going anywhere. I don’t know. Look. Me, Liam and a load of f***ing fit birds.
Well, I put it out there. [Liam] won’t call … I mean, he should call me, because he’s like, he’s forever going on about it. You’d have thought by now, he’d have some kind of plan. He doesn’t have to speak to me. He won’t speak to me, he’s a coward. So he should get some of his people, his agent, to call my people and say: ‘Look, this is what we’re thinking,’ and then we’ll have a conversation about it. Until then, he’s being a little bit disingenuous.
The two brothers were on the height of greatness back in 1996, and the fans were excited in Knebworth in 1996, with an eye-watering 500,000 people heading to the idyllic village to see their favourite band live.
A claim is made that another performance at Knebworth could be on the cards with 2, 50, 000 coming to witness the event if it happens at this time. According to Mirror, the group will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album ‘Definitely Maybe’ next year, so a reunion could be planned by those around the two music legends.
1993 to 2009 has been their journey to fame before the two split and have gone their separate ways. No one can confirm if the two would be willing to come together, but anything can happen so we can expect the unexpected to happen.
