During a Liam Gallagher gig in Cardiff Bay, a man suffered a life-changing head injury after he was allegedly assaulted.
The man was assaulted so badly that the injuries he sustained from the attack hospitalised him, according to a report by Wales Online. In a separate incident, a 28-year-old woman was attacked shortly after the concert at a Tesco cash machine. She has to be taken to the hospital with a broken jaw.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said they are asking the public to come forward to help with the case if they can identify who attacked the man. “Officers need to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any part of this incident or may have video or mobile phone footage of what has taken place,” they said.
Meanwhile, Liam Gallagher will head next to Abu Dhabi for a gig on October 29. His next stop will be South America, where he will perform in November.
The former Oasis frontman was heckled on a flight when he declined their requests of signing their merchandise. He also had to apologise after cutting his set short at a festival in France. He said his doctor advised him to not perform any further at the time.
