Liam Gallagher has had his own share of success as a band member of Oasis. The former Oasis lead singer has issues with no band rivalry in the current day and age. He wishes there was a band rivalry so that he could enjoy it as he gave them a verbal lashing. Liam shared his thoughts while speaking with a major media house.
Liam Gallagher recently got interviewed by The Guardian. Ultimate Guitar reports that he talked about the band rivalry situation, and the Oasis breakup. He opened up about his relationship with his brother Noel Gallagher. Liam talked about the state of bands saying, “It’s a shame because they’d be f***ing getting it as well. No one wants to be in a band and share success these days. It’s all ‘me me me’ solo stars.”
He even talked about the problem with his brother Noel Gallagher. He said, “Absolute nightmare … I was sitting at home with no management, no office, and no one to really speak to, while Noel was still walking into his big management office having everyone running around after him, getting smart and dissing people.”
Liam Gallagher continued talking about the way things have been since the group ended. He said, “Looking back with hindsight, you can go: ‘You’re a big boy’ and all that, but when you’ve had all that stuff for 20 years … I could barely tie my shoelace let alone run my business or my life. All that support was taken away, but little Noely G had it all still there. There were 40 or 50 people working for Oasis. All of a sudden, everyone was out of a job. Meanwhile, he’s off with his guitar and his wife, having a lovely time.”
He even talked about the fact that the two brothers never see each other. Liam shared his feelings on the relationship saying, “No. There’s been no chat. I haven’t seen him, and we won’t see each other. They are up their own arses, all of them.”
It’s worth noting that the former Oasis members and real life brothers are no longer keeping up with each other. The two have had their part of the world after the band fell apart. While no one else can mend fences and bring the band or their relationship together, it would be worth understanding that they don’t want to come together either.
