Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant is releasing a new album, a sequel to his first Alison Krauss collaboration Raising Sand. Raising Sand musician Greg Leisz said on the Everyone Loves Guitar podcast that he’s heard a track from the record early.
“I actually just recently heard a song from the upcoming record, he’s doing another record with Alison Krauss and I heard a track from it the other day,” he stated. “Incredible.”
One song is “Searching For My Baby,” Leisz then sang part of the song: “Searching, searching for my baby,” he sang. “When you hear that, it’s going to blow your mind. It’s fantastic.”
The song might be a cover of “Searching For My Love,” a 1966 song by Bobby Moore & The Rhythm Aces which features the same lyrics that Leisz sang. Led Zeppelin News broke this story.
