Kasabian have tweeted an announcement about their singer, “We have bad news re tonight’s Dublin gig. Serge has been diagnosed with laryngitis this afternoon and we can’t go ahead.
We’re totally devastated and apologise to everyone looking forward to the gig tonight.
Hang on to your tickets, we will have news on a new show date ASAP.”
The band recently posted, “THE ALCHEMIST’S EUPHORIA is #1 in Official UK Charts
To get our 6th number one is absolutely phenomenal, this one has got to be the most special. we’d liked to thank all our fans for all their support without whom we’d wouldn’t be here, you never fail to blow our minds. This is just the beginning x.”
Some fans haven’t been thrilled with Kasabian’s lineup changes, with a fan named John commenting on Facebook, “Sorry guys. I’ve been a fan since the first album and have seen you live umpteen times. This new stuff isn’t for me. I think Serge is a genius, but he’s not a front man. I honestly gave it my best shot to see if it would grow on me, but it just isn’t Kasabian music any more. So, good luck with future plans, let me just shake your hand, and wish you the best in the world. Cos I’m Movin On!!”
