Arcade Fire fans on Reddit are furious they can’t get refunds after Beck quit their North American tour after sexual misconduct allegations against Win Butler.
JP_Clark posted, “Here’s what Ticketmaster said:
Ace: Ticketmaster sells tickets on behalf of Event Organizers, who are the ones that set the rules for refunds. Unfortunately, the Event Organizer for this event is not authorizing us to issue refunds. If you have any questions, please contact The Anthem directly.”

If I bought a ticket to this I’d have expected to have seen Beck and I’d be pretty rip shit.
To answer your question, I’ve bought tickets to shows to see openers before. Several times.”

By the time I saw them in Munich, they had Boukman Eksperyans on board and wow, their energy was incredible and they really, really hyped the crowds. The show was fucking incredible and I’m happy to have seen them. I don’t think an acoustic Beck set would deliver the same hype and energy, it would just be a different flavor of show (and I can understand Beck fans being pissed for that reason).
But both DJ Maracas and Boukmans were great and as I wasn’t there to see FEIST, I loved the Eksperyans 🙂
You guys are in for such a treat, this tour is amazing!”
