You can’t think of successful musical powerhouses without thinking of Adele. The so-called ‘Queen of Hearts’ has sold more than 120 million records worldwide, making her one of the world’s best-selling music artists. She is one of the artists who bring the most revenue to the music industry per day. Back in 2021, Adele was named the UK’s best-selling female album artist of the 21st century, based on Official Charts Company data. In May 2022, Time magazine named her for the third time among the 100 most influential people in the world in the “icons” category.
Adele has also had quite a personal life as well. Back in 2011, she would date and eventually have a child with entrepreneur Simon Konecki. The two would get married in private in 2017 before eventually separating and filing for divorce from Konecki back in 2019. While in 2021 the ‘Someone Like You’ singer would enter a relationship with a sports agent, Rich Paul.
In a very interesting turn of events, Adele recently performed live for the first time in five years. Paul would be sitting in the crowd and as supportive as one would suspect. However, also in the crowd, that night was Adele’s aforementioned ex-husband, Simon Konecki. However, as E! News reports, there is absolutely no bad blood between the parties whatsoever. BritPop News transcribed the following:
“It was never really tricky because we are such good friends. There are no issues and there were no issues so I guess it gave it, it didn’t make it like it didn’t happen but I was blessed with them and him [Simon] and I think that paid off.”
She would continue: “You know, I have a whole setup of how I move and no one ever knows. Just so I can be completely carefree. I think the relationship that I’m in, he will be like if you want to go to that resturant, you should go to that restaurant and if you want to go to this birthday party, you should be going. You can’t miss out on these things, what’s the worse that can happen?”
