In 2005, Jarvis Cocker saved the day for Harry Potter fans everywhere when he valiantly stepped in to provide a band for the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire when Franz Ferdinand was unable to do so. Jarvis rounded up his pals — which include Pulp bassist Steve Mackey, Jason Buckle of All Seeing I, Steven Claydon of Add N to (X), and Radiohead members Jonny Greenwood and Phil Selway — and donned outrageous wizard garb. In the film, the band plays to Hogwarts students at the annual Yule Ball. Jarvis wrote three magical songs for the film’s soundtrack. There aren’t many Britpop x Halloween crossovers so enjoy Jarvis Cocker dressed like a wizard rock star singing about mythical beasts!
