On April 17, 1995, Oasis appeared at the Cliffs Pavilion at Southend-On-Sea, just four months before the infamous ‘Battle of Britpop’ came to a head. Most of their set is taken from their 1994 debut, Definitely Maybe. ‘Some Might Say,’ off their not-yet-released sophomore album, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?, also got a play, as did all of the b-sides from that first single. This professionally-filmed concert ends with a cover of the Beatles’ ‘I Am The Walrus.’
