Here we have the full concert of Oasis live at Glastonbury on June 23, 1995, which happened to be the first gig with new drummer Alan White. The set includes a mixture of songs from their debut, Definitely Maybe, and from their follow-up, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory, which was released almost four months after this appearance.
Their Glastonbury appearance marks the first live performances of what would become two of their definitive songs, ‘Morning Glory’ and ‘Roll With It’ (the latter of which was at the forefront of that summer’s much-hyped Britpop wars). It is also the introduction of ‘The Swamp Song’ and ‘Hello.’ Also, notably, this appearance marks the first electric performance of ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger.’ The concert is worth watching just for their performance of the Beatles’ ‘I Am The Walrus’ alone!
