There is a dark place in all of our souls. The place we go to when we have far, far, far, far too much to drink after having been laid off and broken up. You might say it’s way down, deep dark and funky. Though for me it’s mostly bright, cheery, and full of unicorns making sandcastles. For a long time this was the last parting gift from the Brown/Squire writing combo and we had to fucking take it buried deep in a b-side noone really bought. It’s so off from what they put out that I don’t get it. It’s also a bit like Can’t See Me and Breaking into Heaven and back into the reni drum loop. It at times feels awesome yet feels immensely sad. Hence the dark place in our souls. I still like it thought.
