Pretty Green has debuted their newest collection, entitled The Production, as part of the Spring Summer 15 Black label collection. A showcase took place earlier this week (June 16) at the famous Gibson Brand studio, a legendary rock n’ roll HQ where Paul Weller, Miles Kane, and Primal Scream plan their tours.
Like all Pretty Green lines, music was of great influence to The Production. Models strutted their stuff on the catwalk to an eclectic soundtrack that complemented the new designs. The evening’s playlist included Dr John (‘Locked Down’), Circles (‘Open Road’), Sandy Shaw (‘Love Me Too’), The Pretty Things (‘Come See Me’), and The Kills (‘Fuck The People’).
But, I think we all want to know what the new designs look like. We have a sneak peek at the The Production below. Many of the pieces are limited edition, and the designs include a lot of directional tailoring, fine gauge knits, and optical print shirts. Highlights of the collection include a Black Label outsized leather parka, based on one of Liam’s vintage pieces; a micro dot peak lapel suit; and an English-made trench coat with bespoke leather hardware.
Monday’s show also marked the fifth anniversary of Pretty Green, founded by Liam Gallagher in 2009.
