Ash - Trailer

Picture 2 of 100

Kayley Kravitz: Ash were essentially babies when they recorded this 1994 mini-album. It's lo-fi punk drawing influence from the American grunge scene. The lyrics are positively teenage. "Day of the Triffids" is all about alien invasion and super villains. In my book, Trailer and 1977 were Ash's best albums (sorry, Charlotte Hatherley). From "Jack Names the Planets" to the Helen Love cover "Punk Boy," I adore this record. Top Tracks: "Uncle Pat," "Intense Thing," "Punk Boy"
