Saint Etienne - Fox Base Alpha

Picture 74 of 100

Kayley Kravitz: In 1991, Foxbase Alpha introduced us to Saint Etienne. The band was so new that Sarah Cracknell wasn't even featured on the band's cover of Neil Young's "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" - it was original singer Moira Lambert. Sure in 2013 it sounds like early '90s house music but it's still a solid record. It produced some of Saint Etienne's most well loved singles including "Spring" and "Nothing Can Stop Us Now." Top Tracks: "Only Love Can Break Your Heart," "Spring," "Stoned To Say The Least," "Carnt Sleep"
