Manic Street Preachers - Holy Bible

Picture 41 of 100

Kayley Kravitz: This is Richey Edwards' swan song. The Manics' "guitarist" went missing less than a year after the Holy Bible's release. The band has admitted that the lyrics were largely comprised by Richey. His words document his struggle with everything from eating disorders to his disgust with society. James Dean Bradfield and Sean Moore were responsible for the music which compliments Richey's lyrics perfectly. Songs like "Faster" sound militant while "4st 7lb" is melancholy. February 1, 2013 marks the 18th anniversary of Richey's disappearance. We miss you, buddy. Top Tracks: She Is Suffering, Faster, Archives of Pain, This Is Yesterday
