U2 - Actung Baby

Picture 94 of 100

Jamie Blanchard: Actung Baby was a transitional album that signaled an end to the ludicrious Rattle and Hum tour. Darker, a little more industrial (by U2 standards), and incorporating The Stone Roses influenced house scene, the album shows the band reaching artistically but not in a bad way. It was generally well received by the press and fans alike as it spawned multiple massive songs. As a band of this size it's about introspective and dark as they'll go. Revel in the last beautiful breath of what made U2 so great in the first place before they went all Apple commercials on us. Top Tracks: Mysterious Ways, One, Zoo Station
